A play about a young North Wales soccer team struggling to make their mark. This was the first Mikrokosmos production to be performed on the main stage, in the Anthony Hopkins Theatre at Clwyd Theatr Cymru. The action was accompanied live by the 80-strong Trelawnyd Male Voice Choir, who sang classical pieces juxtaposed with popular football anthems such as Delilah, The Battle Hymn of the Republic and I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles.
The story follows the fortunes of a family from the Flint area struggling to turn an unused piece of brown belt space into a community football pitch for the local kids' team. After many setbacks they finally achieve their goal! The story climaxes in a trip to Cardiff where the team play in and win in a Welsh tournament final.
